www.brainpop.com is a subscription website that you can access parts of for free. Students visit topics of interest for areas all across the curriculum. They watch movies and can take quizzes on the content they've learned. The program allows for printing of scores for record keeping purposes.
Our school has had great success utilizing studyisland.com. This site has been created for student practice for State of Alaska Standards Based Assessments.

Try Click and Read Phonics at clicknkids.com for your early or primary grades reader. There are over 100 sequential lessons for students to pace through to learn their basic phonics skills.
I currently teach 2nd graders on Wrangell Island in Southeast Alaska. This is my 18th year teaching and I absolutely love every minute of it! We are living in exciting times and I want to do my part to help embrace change, while finding balance. I look forward to others joining me in this journey!
